Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Legacy of Football (the "Service"), a football player trading and collection game operated by Simon Varli ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of the service

Legacy of Football is a football player card trading and management game. The Service lets you build a club, collect and open packs of fictional player cards, train and progress players, manage a squad and formation, compete in leagues and seasons, buy and sell players in a transfer market, develop a stadium, earn and spend virtual coins, and interact with other managers through public club profiles, leaderboards, an activity feed, and private direct messages.

All players, clubs, crests, and names in the Service are fictional and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any real person, club, or league.

3. Account eligibility & responsibilities

• You must be at least the minimum age required in your region to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and must not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• You must not create more than one account for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage, and must not use a account to circumvent suspensions or restrictions.

4. Virtual currency & purchases

The Service uses a virtual currency ("coins") for in-game actions such as buying packs, training players, renewing contracts, bidding in the market, and upgrading stadium facilities. You may earn coins through gameplay, and you may be able to purchase coins with real money where offered.

• No real-world value. Coins, packs, player cards, and all in-game items have no real-world monetary value and are not currency or property of any kind.
• Non-refundable. Purchased coins and packs are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law.
• No transfers. You may not sell, trade, or exchange in-game items or coins for real money or anything of value outside the Service.
• No title. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use in-game items within the Service. You do not own them.
• We may adjust earning rates, costs, and balance at any time to keep the game fair and engaging.

5. Acceptable use & prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Cheat, hack, or use bugs, exploits, automation, scripts, or third-party tools to gain an unfair advantage or manipulate the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or internal workings of the Service.
• Engage in harassment, hate, threats, bullying, stalking, or any conduct that intimidates or degrades another manager.
• Abuse the chat or messaging features to send spam, phishing, malware, or unwanted content.
• Impersonate another person or manager, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

6. User-generated content & chat

You may create content such as your club name, username, and direct messages. You are solely responsible for the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, use, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

• Moderation. We may review, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful.
• Blocking & reporting. You can block other managers and report messages or users. Reported content may be reviewed for moderation and safety purposes.
• Enforcement. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and may remove associated content without notice.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, graphics, interfaces, and all fictional players, clubs, crests, names, and text, is owned by Simon Varli and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

Your club name, username, and message content remain yours; the license above covers our use of that content to operate the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data will not be lost. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Simon Varli and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, coins, or in-game items, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the preceding twelve (12) months.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms or if we believe you have created a risk or legal exposure for us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your associated data and in-game items.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you within the Service or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
